\u00a0It is noted that paludism is much more frequent in particular in the pregnant woman as from\u00a0the third month of the pregnancy and after childbirth: it is major public health problems in the tropical and subtropical areas: zones II and III, according to the statistics of WHO<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The pregnant woman is particularly vulnerable: the pregnancy weakens its immunity and makes it more sensitive to\u00a0the paludic infection, increases the disease risk, of severe anaemia and death.<\/p>\n

For the child\u00a0to be born, maternal paludism increases the risk of miscarriage, still birth, premature birth and small weight of birth: one of principal causes mortality in the child.<\/p>\n
